Girls > Boys

A lot of the times we settle. We settle for something less than we deserve. We let things slide and shrug things off. We make excuses, and compromise too much. We loose sight of how much we deserve, and how we should be treated. Every girl deserves to be treated like a princess. To have the door held open for them, the guy treat them to dinner, to ask how you are, to come to you, to try to make you happy...and to be with someone who wants to do all those things for you, and in return you do the same.
To all my girls: never forget your worth, or how much you deserve. And trust me, there are plenty of guys out there who will do all of those things...sadly these days, it's few and far in between, but they're there. And don't settle for anything less than wonderful... because you deserve it.

    Haha...story of my life. As of August 2009, I made a promise to myself to never again settle for less than wonderful. It took me 3 years to build the courage I needed - we sometimes compromise too much because we're afraid of being alone - but I finally did it. And it feels so much better on the other side. I feel like I know who I am again, and, more importantly, who I want and don't want to be. Here's some lyrics:

    until I realized you were standing in the way of my air supply
