  2. I respect Warhol and the unique way in which he viewed the world, but not sure how I feel about this quote...

    Actually, am sure. :)

(...Happen to think he's way off-base. Perhaps he was the kind of person who didn't need other people to be close and present and real in his life? Was somehow content with distance & disillusion? With daydreams & disenchantment? Dunno.)

Think a certain amount of fantasy is surely a good thing, as it builds excitement & anticipation. Keeps the imagination strong (essential) and helps hope remain in the heart (that, too)... :) But I believe is incredibly sad & tragic when they don't eventually meet at some point along this crazy cosmic continuum... Missed opportunities like that are the worst kind of all.

And afterall, who's to say reality love isn't BETTER than fantasy love?

ps: sorry for random thoughts here, but lots on my mind lately and this seems like a cool place to realize/discuss 'em... (Thanks for blogging, Carly)

    pps: what do you think?
