    Sometimes you read something (beautiful) and it leads to something else entirely, previously unimagined... Is the nature of inspiration (a serendipitous starting point!) and is always one of my favorite occurrences... :)

    In this case, Carly, read/felt that wonderful & poetic line that you had written--had such a distinct rhythm and depth to it--and could almost hear the words unfolding...

    And so I hope u don't mind if I share them with you:

    kiss me like the sun kisses the ocean.
    miss me like the morning waits for light
    need me like you've never lived without me
    hold me like you know we'll be alright.

    want me like a drink when you are thirsting
    greet me like a long-awaited guest
    see me like that sunset in the distance
    hear me like the heart inside your chest.

    know me like a favorite bedtime story
    show me like you know where it all leads
    touch me with your tender, gentle nature
    heal me in my heart--that's what it needs.

    meet me in the meadow of your memory
    pull me in directions you desire
    love me in the way that you once dreamed of
    ignite me like the air that fuels our fire.

    just kiss me like the sun kisses the ocean
    warm all those deep, dark waters of my soul
    where we'll shine brightly on the surface of the shoreline
    and float so freely on the feeling of being whole.
