NEW YORK CITY

Alive in this city, even if you’re the walking dead

Hustle and bustle and flow

Engulfed in strangers with the same familiar faces

A moment of silence for the still honking taxis

Buildings so high they could be my friend or enemy

And lets embrace the full seasons

Scurrying around to get to the 4, 5, and 6

Balthazar and The Coffee Shop

Singing in the subway station, let me give you 25 cents

A thousand people in one square foot

all running in different directions
